Portfolio
I am in music school majoring in trumpet and music education and have been playing my instrument for over ten years. My time at Brandon University has allowed me to focus my studies on classical and jazz performance, as well as different genres such as latin, Brazilian, blues, and fusion, among many others.
I am so fortunate to have been mentored by many marvellous musicians including trumpeter Dr. Edward Bach, Michael Cain - world-class jazz pianist, Dr. Wendy McCallum, and more.
Professional playing performances of mine include performances with the Brandon University Big Band, Brandon University Brass Ensemble, as well as professionally touring North Carolina with Market Street Brass.
Additionally, my passion is to make music, and have gained new knowledge and skills over the years including singing, piano, guitar, and ukulele.
I have always had a fascination with sports and being active. Growing up, I was involved in many extracurricular physical activities such as dance (folk dance, ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop), swimming, basketball, volleyball, as well as Tae Kwon Do and Sikaran which is a traditional Filipino martial art.

Physical education is a passion of mine, and I hope to continue to learn more about physical health and how to teach people about its importance. Because of this passion, I was able to obtain my black belt in Sikaran in 2012, and my NCCP Coaching certification in 2019.
